Previewing Future Cadillac Electric Vehicles | The 2025 OPTIQ & 2026 VISTIQ
Cadillac continues to add to its lineup of fully electric luxury SUVs with the announcements of the upcoming OPTIQ and VISTIQ! The OPTIQ and VISTIQ round out Cadillac’s EV SUV offerings, joining the existing fully electric Escalade IQ and LYRIQ. Regarding size, space, and price, the Escalade IQ is still the king, followed by the VISTIQ, LYRIQ, and then the subcompact OPTIC. When the VISTIQ hits stores after the OPTIQ, Cadillac will have an EV SUV in all shapes and sizes for everyone! While no firm release date has been announced yet, we expect to see the OPTIQ by the end of 2024 and expect the VISTIQ to make its debut in early 2025. When they release, visit Bob Moore Cadillac Oklahoma City to test drive them, or explore our existing inventory of new Cadillac EVs online!
2025 Cadillac OPTIQ
The OPTIQ is a crossover electric SUV, smaller than its brothers, like the VISTIQ or LYRIQ. We expect the five-seater, two-row SUV to pack plenty of cargo space and Cadillac’s latest technology with features like Google Built-In, Over-The-Air Updates, HD rear vision camera, emergency braking, and other features. While we don’t know much about the powertrains or engine, we expect front and all-wheel drive options with powertrains up to 290 HP. If we take notes from the LYRIQ, we’d expect the range to top somewhere around 300 miles. As the entry point into Cadillac EVs, we’d expect pricing in the mid $40,000 range, likely with three trim levels. While we don’t have all the answers, if you have initial questions about the upcoming OPTIQ, contact Bob Moore Cadillac Oklahoma City today!
2026 Cadillac VISTIQ
The VISTIQ will represent a step up in space and setting from the OPTIQ and the LYRIQ. This three-row SUV will sit just under the Escalade IQ in terms of space, with all the same luxury features you expect and likely similar tech features as mentioned in the OPTIQ. This mid-size SUV is sleek and sharp, with sizing likely comparable to its gas cousin, the XT6. While it will be a while before we know any specs, it’s rumored the VISTIQ could get up to 500 horsepower with over 300 miles of range. As with Cadillac’s other EV SUVs, we expect the VISTIQ to come in three trim levels, with prices to start somewhere close to $65,000. Stay tuned to Bob Moore Cadillac OKC to get more information about the VISTIQ as it becomes available!
