The standard Cadillac CT4 engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 237 horsepower. If you want a little extra power, consider upgrading to the 2.7-liter engine, which ups your output to 309 horsepower. The 2.0-liter engine pairs to an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the larger variant is paired with a ten-speed automatic. The CT4 bucks the norm with its drive train, with a RWD system in place of the FWD platform you’d typically see. If you’re thinking economically, the base engine is more fuel efficient, getting 23 mpg in city streets and 34 mpg on the open road. The larger engine dips in efficiency slightly, getting 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
2024 and 2025 are closely related, both sharing the same three trim levels and many of the same features. The CT4’s trim levels are:
Every CT4 is tech-forward, offering remote start, keyless open, a wireless phone charger and a long list of standard driver assistance features. Opting for the Premium Luxury includes leather seats and an optional digital cluster with a head-up display. The Sport adds performance elements like premium brakes but also features a more athletic design with a performance grille and dark accents throughout.
2025 didn’t see a ton of new features for the CT4, but a couple of new paint options, like Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic, were added. Some models also got access to an eight-way power-adjustable seat and 18-inch wheels. Aside from those changes, the 2025 CT4 carries over many of the tech features found in the 2024 model, including GM’s Super Cruise, a hands-free driving assistance platform that makes road trips and highway driving easier than ever.
